Hard Summer 2026 Confirms Official Pre and After Parties in DTLA
Hard Summer has laid out its plans to stretch the festival experience beyond the main gates, announcing its official ‘HARDfest Weekender’ pre and after parties. The series includes four events, kicking off on the Thursday before the festival and marking a debut at a new Downtown Los Angeles venue.
The announcement confirms a total of four official parties – two pre-parties and two after-parties – extending the event into a full-blown weekender. In a notable move, the festival is making its debut at Mission Four - Ace*Mission Studios in DTLA for these events, expanding its footprint beyond the primary Inglewood site. Tickets for all associated parties are now on sale.
This move feels like a direct response to one of last year's main gripes. The main Hard Summer festival, which returns to Hollywood Park on August 1-2, ran with a strict 10 p.m. curfew in 2025 following significant noise complaints from local residents the year before. Whilst this may have appeased the neighbours, it left a portion of the festival’s famously high-energy crowd feeling short-changed. Official after-parties in a different part of the city offer a tidy solution, keeping the party going without breaching the Inglewood site's licence.
For a festival that has a reputation as a 'gateway' for younger ravers and an 'end of summer shitshow' for others, an early finish was always going to be a point of friction. By organising its own after-hours events, Hard Summer can cater to its core audience whilst navigating the logistical headaches of its main venue. Those planning on a 'full send' now have an official route to do so.
